fight bigotry and ignorance with love

hi you probably heard about the Paula Deen controversy

 

 

 this morning unnamed was complaining about how everyone is bashing Deen

and she said "they call each other that all the time, why are they mad?"

OH MY GOOOODDDDDDD!!!!! :'(

I don't even know what to think :'(

i'm tearing up right now because

that's my kids unnamed is talking about, my husband, my friends :'(

i'm sad and I don't understand.............

how one can go through every day with that much

contempt for other living beings.

but you can't fight hate with hate.

I hope that love, compassion, and empathy

can soon live in your heart, mind, and soul.

the best we can do is fight bigotry and ignorance with love.
