hello my friends.
I just finished a 3 mile power walk.
I took it easy today and I will for the next few days.
I have a pattern of working out hard for 2-3 weeks,
then feeling like a gelatinous, weak blob for 1 week or so.
I know my ladies feel me.
and i'm not using the cyclical nature of my hormones
as an excuse to be lazy.
I still geared up and got some exercise!
during this time I really can't go hard.
effective exercise comes from the core
and well my core feels like crap haha
so I did steady state cardio to still burn energy
and get my endorphin high.
I feel a little bit down on myself
because I wanted to follow
the workout challenges and calendars
I had set out to do.
But I'm listening to my body.
It's telling me to take it easy,
so I'm going to listen.
(maybe this is something I should address
when making workout plans for women?)
and hey if you're going through the very same thing
I want you to know
IT'S OKAY, you can take it easy.
exercise is meant to improve your state
not to make you feel guilty
not to make you feel guilty
